1. Our position on copyright
Geetify is a community-driven, non-commercial platform built to make South Indian music lyrics more accessible to fans, especially those in the diaspora who may not be able to read native scripts.
We respect the intellectual property rights of artists, composers, lyricists, music labels, and publishers. We acknowledge that song lyrics, album artwork, and artist images are copyrighted works belonging to their respective rights holders.
Content on Geetify is shared in good faith for educational, cultural, and non-commercial purposes. If you are a rights holder and believe your content has been used inappropriately, please contact us and we will act promptly.
2. Content disclaimer
All song lyrics, artist images, album artwork, and related content displayed on Geetify are the property of their respective rights holders. Geetify does not claim ownership of any such content.

3. Content removal / takedown requests
If you are a copyright owner (or an authorized representative) and believe that content on Geetify infringes your rights, you may submit a takedown request. We will review and act within 7 business days.

- We will review your request and verify the claim.
- If valid, we will remove or restrict access to the content within 7 business days.
- We will notify the user who contributed the content of the removal.
- If we require more information to process the request, we will contact you.
5. Repeat infringement policy
Geetify will suspend or permanently terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers.

7. Applicable law
Geetify complies with the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 and its amendments. While we operate under Indian law, we also honour takedown requests consistent with internationally accepted principles (including those in the DMCA), as Geetify is accessible globally.
