1. Who we are

Geetify (geetify.tantramsha.in) is a personal, non-commercial lyrics platform for South Indian music. It is operated by an individual developer, not a company or organization.

2. What data we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive and store the following from your Google account:

• Your name (as set in your Google account)
• Your email address
• Your Google profile picture URL
• A unique Google ID to identify your account

We also store an authentication token (session token) in your browser to keep you logged in, and we temporarily cache certain API responses (such as song data) to improve performance. This cache does not contain any personal information.

3. How we use your data

• To create and maintain your account on Geetify
• To attribute lyrics contributions you submit to your profile
• To display your name/avatar within the platform
• To authenticate you when you sign in

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing emails, or profiling. We do not sell your data to any third party.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services that may process data on our behalf:

• Google OAuth - for sign-in authentication
• Cloudflare - for hosting, CDN, and DDoS protection

We plan to add Google Analytics in the future to understand usage patterns. When added, this policy will be updated to reflect that.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage mechanisms only for:

• Storing your authentication session (to keep you logged in)
• Caching application data locally for faster page loads

We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. Your rights (DPDP Act, 2023)

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate personal data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

7. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove all personal data within 30 days.

8. Children's privacy

Geetify is not directed at children under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please do not use this service. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us personal data, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Geetify after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
