Lyrics Synchronization Guide

Geetify provides real-time synchronized lyrics using two playback engine options.

Sync Features

  • Active Highlighting: The current verse line glows in purple, bolded, and shifts forward to keep track easily. Past lines fade slightly.
  • Auto-Scrolling: Lyrics keep the active line centered automatically. Manual scrolls pause the tracking for 3.5 seconds before resuming.
  • Direct Seeking: Click any lyric line to instantly jump the YouTube player or the Manual Stopwatch directly to that timestamp.

1. YouTube Video Mode

Matches timings with the embedded YouTube video.

Calibrating Intro Delay Offset:

If the official video includes movie dialogue, logos, or silence before the audio starts, use the Intro Delay (±0.5s) selectors to align highlights. These values are saved to your browser cache.

2. Manual Audio Deck Mode

Synchronize manually while playing music on Spotify, Apple Music, vinyl, or Bluetooth speakers.

Quick Start Checklist:

  1. Start playing the song in your music application.
  2. Press the Play button on the Geetify Manual Audio Deck at the exact start of the track.
  3. If sync drifts, use the Fine-Tune Sync (±0.5s) adjusters. The digital clock displays raw elapsed time only.
  4. Pressing ↺ Reset resets the clock to 00:00 and clears the fine-tune offset.
  5. Stopwatch auto-stops when the song duration finishes.
